Official sources

Every rule a calculator on this site applies traces back to a row in this registry: the statute, court rule, official guideline document, or official calculator it came from. The build checks that link, so a number without a source here cannot ship. This page lists all 491 registered sources, grouped by jurisdiction, with the date we last checked each one.

The practice is source-first: we read the official document, transcribe the figures, cite the exact source next to each claim, and link the official resource on every state page. How those figures become calculations is described on the methodology page.

For a cross-jurisdiction example, the child-support arrears-interest research snapshot publishes current rule status and open evidence fields alongside a downloadable CSV of the source IDs and URLs.

Note: some official sites block automated access. Rows marked "archive copy" (113 of 491) were verified against an Internet Archive capture of the official page or file, and we re-check the live source when it becomes reachable. The links below always point at the official location, never the archive.
