Privacy policy

This policy describes what SupportDecode actually does with information, in plain language. The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and the numbers you type are never sent to us.

How the calculators handle your numbers

This is a static website. Every page is a pre-built file, and every calculator is a small program that runs on your own device. When you enter incomes, overnights, or other figures, the math happens in your browser. Your inputs are not transmitted to our servers, are not stored by us, and cannot be seen by us. Closing the page discards them.

One detail worth knowing: some results panels offer an optional link to the PayDecode take-home pay calculator that carries the income figure you entered inside the link address, so that site can pre-fill its form. Nothing is sent unless you choose to click that link, and PayDecode's own privacy practices apply once you do.

What we do not have

• No accounts and no logins.
• Email updates are disabled, so the site is not collecting subscription addresses.
• No ads today.
• No stored case details. We do not collect or keep information about your support case, and RULES that bind this project forbid us from starting.

Like any website, the hosting service that delivers a page has to receive your device's IP address and the address of the page you asked for in order to respond. That is how the web works. Beyond that, the site uses Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement, as described in the next section; we do not use hosting logs to identify visitors.

Analytics and measurement

This privacy page never loads Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising, or an advertising consent message, even if you previously allowed analytics. Its first-party “Privacy choices” control only saves or withdraws your preference. Allowing analytics here applies when you visit other pages; declining clears accessible analytics cookies.

Google Analytics is optional. Before you choose, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics do not load, no analytics request is sent to Google, and no analytics cookie is created. The consent control defaults Google Consent Mode v2 storage and advertising signals to denied. If you select “Allow analytics,” Google Tag Manager (container GTM-N3DKXXH3) runs Google Analytics 4 for aggregate traffic measurement: pages viewed, approximate location derived by Google from your IP address, and device and browser type. Google Analytics can then set cookies such as _ga to distinguish returning browsers.

What measurement still never receives: incomes, overnights, child counts, dates, case details, calculator results, free text, or form-field values. Calculator inputs stay on your device exactly as before; no custom analytics events are configured. The embeddable widget served to other websites carries no analytics at all. Declining analytics never limits a calculator or other site feature.

Your analytics choice is stored only in your browser for up to six months so the site can remember it. Use “Privacy choices” in the footer at any time to change that choice. Declining after previously allowing analytics removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page without Google scripts. Email you send us

If you email the address on the contact page, we receive whatever you include and use it to answer you and investigate corrections. Please do not send case details; we cannot advise on them and do not need them.

Email update subscriptions

Email subscriptions are not active. The form stays disabled until the operator identity, working privacy contact, physical postal address, double opt-in workflow, unsubscribe handling, tracking controls, abuse protection, and external privacy review are complete. The RSS feed remains available without an email address.
