New Jersey guideline support (Court Rule 5:6A, Appendix IX) is computed entirely in weekly NET dollars; the engine behind this site for New Jersey has no gross-income input path at all, monthly or weekly. Every figure from income through the order amount runs on net income the parties or the court establish directly, so this page family, which only ever knows a hypothetical gross paycheck, has no honest way to feed New Jersey's formula.
What to use instead
The full New Jersey child support calculator on this site runs the same real guideline engine and sources as every other state page. It asks for the net-income figures New Jersey's formula actually requires, rather than trying to derive them from a hypothetical weekly gross paycheck the way this series does for states with a gross-based formula.
