Requires net income (no gross conversion)
Connecticut guideline support (Guidelines effective August 1, 2026) is computed on each parent’s net weekly income. The engine behind this site accepts a gross-income field for Connecticut for internal consistency with every other state's data shape, but it performs no gross-to-net conversion: the value supplied is used as net income directly. Feeding it a computed gross figure would silently mislabel gross dollars as net income, so this page family excludes Connecticut rather than produce a number built on that mislabeling.
What to use instead
The full Connecticut child support calculator on this site runs the same real guideline engine and sources as every other state page. It asks for the net-income figures Connecticut's formula actually requires, rather than trying to derive them from a hypothetical weekly gross paycheck the way this series does for states with a gross-based formula.
